Just a few moments ago I went to open my curtain as part of my start-the-day ritual and was immediately blinded by a glorious sunrise--hot pink light instantly infused my room as last night's storm clouds were breaking above. I instantly raced for my camera and leaped onto my fire escape to capture the view. In the two and a half seconds it took to get out there, the sun had already broken the horizon and the pink was turning to a lovely orange.
It's going to be a good day. I can tell.
