A Sign in Spain

Saw a store front sign today advertising, ´Se Venden Petardos,´and for a split second I thought it read ´Se Venden Retardos.´I was like, ¨BOO YAW! Can they SAY that??¨ Then I looked more closely, and dangit, no, they can´t. Then I asked somebody what a petardo was, and I was told it meant a bomb. WAY BETTER, ESPANA. Way to rock it. He insisted they were ´small bombs,´for ´holidays,´but I´m not buyin´it. Or rather, I AM buying it and bringing it home. ¨Don´t worry, Mr. Customs Official. It´s only a petardo.¨
