Deee's move

All the shops and groceries in Chinatown close at 6 p.m. on Friday. Danielle has a theory that they’re all going to Shabbat.

Deee is moving to SLO soon. I hate it. Right now I am fighting her move tooth and nail, and by 'tooth and nail,' I mean, 'I'm pretending it's not happening.' That, and praying she and her husband don't get any job offers. Because that's the kind of friend I am.

Maybe when she's gone, I'll go to Chinese Shabbat in memory of her.
